Join Tressi, a remarkable twelve-year old, and her rabbit friend Ralph as they locate a magical treasure chest hidden in a forest. The chest contains Tressi’s vast knowledge of the world of trees: their myths and legends, their ways of helping and talking to people, and the way people can draw their tree and analyze themselves. Tressi uses her special knowledge, with the assistance of Ralph and the forest gnomes, to reveal a new world to Samantha. Her cold, demanding parents are unaware of the loneliness that Samantha hides. With an unexpected trip to an arboretum, Samantha finds Tressi’s miraculous stop-watch and much more. She finds Tressi, Ralph, and their gnome companions, who reveal the wonder of trees and the many ways they help people have fuller and richer lives. From her experiences with Tressi and Ralph, Samantha discovers that she and her parents can truly share love as a family.
