Ancient Cedar
If you draw a cedar tree, you may not be consistent. You are ambitious and quite confident of your powers, but you tend to be diversified in your activities. You may engage simultaneously in several kinds of work, or you may pursue a project for some time with great fervor and then suddenly abandon it in favor of something else. You are an excellent "idea person" and good initiator, but you can become easily bored when application is required for fulfillment of your initial concept. As you can easily wear different masks in changing situations and are capable of secrecy, you may manage your complex personal involvement without undue complications. You have amazing resilience and are not easily disappointed since your goals are less definite. When obstacles arise, you are quick to see possibilites of new approaches or alternative goals.

The Palm Tree
If you draw a palm tree, you must either be experiencing emotional dominance or immaturity. You may also fuse your emotional responses with your mental responses. You may suffer a basic "approach-avoidance" syndrome. You see yourself as adventurous and seek out excitement, but when confronted with new experiences or unusual people, you may become defensive. You are not easily influenced by purely rational arguments, but are readily accepting of ideas which are colored by emotional or sexual materials. You have the feeling that you can receive messages, information, and inspirations "from above". Therefore, you may actively seek "contact" or try to create situations in which the likelihood of the occurence of psychic events will be enhanced.

The Evergreen Tree
If you draw a variant of the pine tree, you are likely to be goal driven, rather stubborn, and not easily distracted from your central ambitions. You generally give an impression of self-confidence, but underneath you may feel socially inadequate or emotionally unadapted. You are a person of strong feeling responses, but you don't like to express your feelings openly or reveal your vulnerability to emotion. You are afraid of being hurt by others and tend to be suspicious; it is thus not easy to touch the true center of your emotional life. On the other hand, your ideas can be influenced by an emotional approach and your intellectual life often has a strong feeling tone. If this type of tree is broad near the top, it may be an indication of fanaticism. When the top is slightly open, there are usually religious occult interests and a vagueness or uncertainty about ultimate goals.

The Fruit Tree
Depending on where the fruits occur, one can generally say that this type of tree expresses positive feelings about the self. The fruit indicates either a present sense of fulfillment or confidence that creative activities will be brought to fruition. If a woman draws this tree, certain special arrangements of the fruit may represent children. Specifically if there are a limited number of fruits, often apples, well protected within the crown, these symbolize actual progeny. If you have drawn numerous well developed fruits in the tree, you may either be an elementary school teacher, or a child therapist. Or you have an interest in pursuing one of these careers.
